Garmin partnered with the New York Yacht Club American Magic sailing team to build a campaign around our first commemorative MARQ watch to support their role in the 2021 America's Cup, americanmagic.americascup.com. As assigned Campaign Art Director on this project, myself along with our hired production team were able to met the team at their base in Pensacola, FL February 2020. We then took advantage of our limited time by highlighting their Skipper and top sailors from a space in their warehouse we created into a studio. We picked up the sail from a local shop from a race boat that happened to be the 42nd one made. This number continued to tell American Magic's story as their man-powered sailboat is the fastest in the world at 40-50kn.

 

Since this watch was based on the features/functionality of the MARQ Captain, we mirrored the look and feel of the original MARQ Collection. This included fashion, active, and product photography that helped represent the luxury of this lineup.

 

Deliverables I personally contributed to included print ads, feature/benefit video, campaign and product pages, emails, digital banners, organic and paid social media, sales presentation, and brochures.
